Psykolog Hobro online

In English

When the strong one cannot recognise themselves

You are used to coping with everything. Now there is a restlessness you cannot place, or a flatness where energy used to be. This page is for leaders in Hobro and the Mariagerfjord area who would like to talk about it in English.

This site describes online conversations with the psychologist Frank for leaders in Hobro. The sessions are offered by djursland-psykologen.dk, which also publishes the site.

Sessions in English

The conversations can take place in English, online as well as in person in Mørke on Djursland. For people in Hobro, online is the simple route: you sit at home, or wherever you feel at ease, and nobody sees you walk into a waiting room.

The sessions are individual, at a fixed weekly time in the evening, and you speak with the same psychologist throughout. They are covered by professional confidentiality.

What you can bring

  • Restlessness. Thoughts that keep running after the working day, and a body that stays on guard.
  • Flatness. Things that used to give energy now give very little, and you cannot say when that changed.
  • Lost surplus. Small things take more than they should, and you withdraw from the people you care about.
  • Asking for help. It can be hard to sit in the other chair when you are usually the one people turn to.

These are common experiences, not an assessment of you. The conversations can give room to look at what is behind them at your own pace.

Who it is for

Managers, founders, business owners and busy professionals who function well on the outside while feeling stretched inside. People with an international background, or who work across borders, are especially welcome to use English.

Questions and answers

Do I need a diagnosis, or a clear problem, to talk to someone?

No. Many people come with a restlessness they cannot place, or a flatness where enjoyment used to be. The conversations can make room for understanding what lies behind it, and you do not need a neat explanation to begin.

Will my GP be told?

No. Neither your GP, the municipality, your partner nor your workplace is informed. The sessions are private, no referral is needed, and they are covered by professional confidentiality under the Danish Psychologists Act.

Can my company pay?

Yes. Many clients have the invoice paid by their company or employer, and you are of course welcome to pay yourself. The price is on the main site, which is in Danish.

Is it all online?

Online is the main route for people in Hobro, and it spares you the drive. Sessions are also possible in person in Mørke on Djursland, in English as well as in Danish.

If it is urgent. There is a waiting list, so this is not suitable for acute help. If you need help now, please contact your GP, the out-of-hours medical service (lægevagten) or call 112 if anyone is in danger.
